The State of Minnesota Department of Human Services has outlined a comprehensive chemical health assessment as a diagnostic evaluation to determine both the severity of substance use as well as the need for addiction and mental health treatment.
The chemical health assessment is administered by one of Elite Recovery’s state-licensed alcohol and drug counselors. The assessment will take between one and two hours to complete, and is administered in our offices.
Once a chemical health assessment has been completed, a written evaluation is prepared. The evaluation is an important part of determining the appropriate level of care for an individual and helps us determine which outpatient treatment programs will be most effective for long-term recovery.
