Changes are coming to Minnesota Medical Assistance (MA). Understanding your renewal requirements can help you take action early and avoid unnecessary disruptions in your health care coverage.
The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) Renewal Lookup Tool can help you determine whether new Medical Assistance work requirements beginning in 2027 may apply to you.

What Does My Result Mean?
The Renewal Lookup Tool is provided by the Minnesota Department of Human Services and is designed to help Minnesotans understand whether they may be subject to new Medical Assistance work requirements beginning in 2027.
If the tool asks you questions about work requirements, DHS indicates that those requirements apply to you.
Because Medical Assistance requirements and individual circumstances can vary, make sure you carefully review any notices you receive from your county, tribal agency, health plan, or Minnesota DHS.
