Every client at Elite Recovery is supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs), Medical Providers (MDs, PMHNPs, RNs) and Mental Health Professionals (LPCCs, LICSWs), working in close collaboration to deliver personalized, proactive care that supports healing from the inside out.
Through a combination of targeted screenings, weekly education groups, and individualized sessions, our Health Promotion Services ensure that every client receives the tools, insight, and professional support needed to build sustainable, long-term wellness.
Comprehensive Screenings
Each client undergoes a structured assessment process to identify key health, nutrition, psychiatric, and mental health needs early in treatment. Screenings guide treatment planning and inform individualized care across all departments.
Screening Tools Used:
- Disordered Eating Screening: SCOFF Questionnaire
- Nursing Assessment: Full Health History and Current Concerns
- Mental Health Screening: Diagnostic Assessment (DA) with Licensed Mental Health Professional
- Medication Management Screening: Diagnostic Assessment + Health History
- Whole-Body Wellness: Comprehensive Assessment with emphasis on ASAM Dimension 2 (Biomedical Conditions)
These screenings ensure early identification of medical, nutritional, and psychiatric needs so clients receive the right support, from the right provider, at the right time.
Weekly Client Education Groups
All clients enrolled in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) participate in three expert-led Health Promotion groups each week, each lasting 50 minutes. These sessions build essential knowledge, increase health literacy, and give clients actionable strategies to improve their well-being.

Why Health Promotion Matters in Recovery
Substance use and mental health disorders often impact every area of life, from sleep and digestion to body image and physical health. Our Health Promotion Services are designed to treat the full person, not just the diagnosis by integrating medical, mental health, and nutritional care into every level of treatment.
