Introducing Elite Affirm IOP:
Elite Affirm is a Level 2.1 Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) specifically designed to support individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community. Open to all gender identities, Elite Affirm provides a safe, affirming space to explore recovery through a lens that honors the unique experiences of LGBTQIA+ individuals. The program includes specialized groups such as LGBTQIA+ Recovery, focusing on topics like the coming out process, family of origin vs. chosen family, identity-based trauma, and health disparities. With a strong commitment to amplifying marginalized voices, Elite Affirm addresses real-life challenges such as stigma, abuse, and barriers to care, fostering resilience, self-acceptance, and lasting recovery through person-centered, evidence-based support.
While enrolled in this program, you will participate in group programming Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:45 PM for a minimum of 8 weeks. During this time, you will also meet with your primary counselor every other week. After completing the initial 8 weeks, you may be eligible to begin a step-down process —from 5 days per week to 4, then to 3 — prior to successfully completing and graduating from your primary group.
