Elite Recovery Frequently Asked Questions
How will my mental health issues be addressed?
Elite Recovery is an intensive out-patient program that focuses on the importance of addressing mental health issues with our care coordination team. We will work cooperatively with your therapist or psychiatrist. If you do not have a therapist or psychiatrist, we can assist you in securing one or both. Clients are evaluated for mental health issues upon intake and strategies to manage mental health are incorporated into the individualized treatment plan that the counselor and client will formulate together.
How will I pay for treatment?
Elite Recovery works with most insurance companies and offers financing options for any treatment costs not covered by insurance. Elite Recovery accepts Direct Access (state Medicaid) funding, as well as most of the common insurance companies. Any insurance or funding questions can be directed to our Admissions Director at 612-719-4137. If you are new to the area and your insurance is from an out of state provider, please do not hesitate to contact us.
How long is the program?
The length of programming depends on the progress of the client. On average, most clients will spend 12 weeks at the highest intensity of 20 hours per week. A typical treatment program can last 4-6 months from start to finish.
How can I be sure that my personal information is confidential?
Elite Recovery is compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). HIPAA is a federal program that requires that all medical records and other individually identifiable health information used or disclosed by us in any form, whether electronically, on paper, or orally, are kept properly confidential. The confidentiality of alcohol and drug abuse client records maintained by this program are protected by Federal law and regulations. Generally, the program may not confirm or deny to anyone outside the program that a client attends the program, or disclose any information identifying a client as an alcohol or drug abuser unless the client consents in writing, the disclosure is allowed by a court order or the disclosure is made to medical personnel in a medical emergency or to qualified personnel for research, audit, or program evaluation.
