Peace House
Blakes House Nonprofit has opened Peace House in Maplewood. It offers men seeking a safe, drug-free space with a supportive and peaceful home. Peace House is ideal for those seeking a stable foundation for recovery, where men can start a new way of life. We are in the suburbs, offering less noise, fewer temptations and a slower pace, making it easier to focus on recovery. Peace House is next to a Lutheran church who supports our mission and can offer a sense of community, peace, and spiritual growth. While there is absolutely no pressure to be involved, for those who ARE interested, attending services or engaging in church activities can provide support, a structured routine, a connection to like-minded individuals, and great social activities.
Our location in Maplewood provides a nice balance of serene living, away from the business of downtown, and provides access to many resources, a bus line, and job opportunities.
